1. Recallo is a game, not a health product

Recallo is a set of memory games for entertainment and general interest. It is not a medical device, a therapy, a treatment, a diagnostic tool or a health product. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, mitigate or assess any disease, disorder or condition — including any condition affecting memory, attention or cognition.

Nothing on this website, in our emails, or inside the app is medical, psychological or clinical advice. Do not use Recallo as a substitute for professional healthcare, and do not delay seeking or disregard professional advice because of anything you read here.

If you are worried about your memory, your concentration, or any other aspect of your health, please speak to a qualified doctor or healthcare professional. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

2. What we claim, and what we don't

This is the most important section on the page, so we have written it plainly.

What we claim: Recallo contains 38 memory games. Each records your score and adjusts its difficulty to how you perform. You can review that score history at any time and export it.

What we do not claim:

Getting better at a memory game demonstrates that you have got better at that memory game. Whether practice on such tasks transfers to unrelated everyday abilities is a genuinely contested question in the research literature, and it is not one we are going to settle in a marketing claim. Companies in this category have been penalised by regulators for promising transfer effects they could not support. We would rather sell a good game honestly.

3. Scores and progress figures

Scores in Recallo are internal to Recallo. They record performance within our games at a given difficulty, on a scale we designed. They are not an assessment, a test result, a diagnosis, a measurement of your memory, a comparison against any clinical norm, or an indicator of your health. Any figures or charts shown on our website illustrate the interface — they are not typical results and not a forecast of yours.

4. Individual experience varies

How much your scores move, and how fast, depends on how often you play, how much sleep you have had, your familiarity with this kind of task, and ordinary day-to-day variation. Plateaus are normal. A flat or falling score in a game is not information about your health.

5. Testimonials and reviews

Where we publish a customer comment, it is the genuine, unpaid opinion of that individual and describes their own experience. It is not a typical result and not evidence of anything beyond that person's view. We do not script, buy or fabricate reviews.

6. Advertising and advertorial pages

Some visitors reach this website from a promotional page — an article-style advertisement published by us or by an independent partner who is paid a referral fee when a reader buys. Those pages are advertising. They are not news reporting, not journalism, not a blog written by a disinterested third party, and not a consumer protection notice, however closely their layout may resemble one.

Where such a page describes a food, drink, recipe or daily routine, it is offered as general-interest reading only. Statements made about it have not been reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration or any comparable regulator, and nothing described is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or mitigate any disease or condition. No ingredient or habit mentioned on any page connected to us is claimed to improve memory, protect against forgetfulness, or influence cognitive decline — the limits set out in section 2 above apply everywhere our name appears.

Where an individual account appears on such a page, it describes one person's own experience. It is not an average, not a typical outcome and not a prediction of yours. Most people who read material of this kind never act on it and therefore see no result at all. Talk to a doctor before changing your diet, taking a supplement or acting on anything you read in an advertisement, ours included.

If you believe a page advertising Recallo makes a claim we disown on this website, please tell us at contact@recallo.com. We withdraw material that oversteps, and we end partnerships that repeat it.

7. Age and suitability

Recallo is designed for adults and suitable for general audiences. It is not designed for, marketed to, or appropriate as an intervention for any clinical population. If a healthcare professional has advised you about screen use or cognitive activity, follow their advice rather than ours.

8. Third-party content and links

Our website may reference or link to third-party material. We do not control it, do not endorse it, and are not responsible for its accuracy or availability.

9. Availability and technical limitations

We work to keep Recallo reliable, but software can be interrupted by maintenance, network problems or faults outside our control. You can export your score history as CSV at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information published on this website or generated within the app. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.
